Wide Racing Stripes (no bumpers) Looks good IMO

I think this wide stripe look without doing the bumpers looks pretty nice IMO. B) I posted an earlier topic with Narrow Striping on the hoods only, and it looked unfinished (plus too narrow). :notnice: I actually like this wide striping....and it doesn't look unfinished to me by not doing the bumpers. If I stripe, then I think this is how I'm going to do mine.....

It looks good from the front, but I still think the back looks incomplete. I would also narrow the gap between stripes. This one does looks way better than the narrow striped one posted earlier!

Looks good stopping short of the bumper. The old mustangs looked good going all the way down, but they had a chrome bumper to add interest. Also has anyone tried not stripping the wing when doing the trunk? I personally would not stripe the roof.

Looks great. But I have a question for you. You say the stripes are WIDE, but they come in three width8 inch, 10 inch and 12 inch wide. which did you use? i want to order mine at bobwhitedecals.com but can't decide on teh width. Do you know how wide those are?

This is the reason I decided not to stripe. I think striping down the front bumper looks sloppy, too much, and the lines are broken up too much. Starting at the hood looks real good. But there's no good stopping point on the rear without going all the way down. Then, you can't not stripe the front bumper while striping the rear. Maybe doing it as pictured above with the recessed panel would look best. Can anyone photoshop that in? I'd love to see it.

I think these two simple mods would make this car great!
I mean to say it is already a great car but this would finish it
I think the stripes need a termination point and the back needs the black to balance the black grill up front

I'm not sure how the back stripe would look if it were continued down to the bottom edge of the deck lid (horizontal to lower tail lamps) instead of blacking out this entire area. And then there is the stripe going completely down and over the rear bumper which was mentioned......but not sure about this look without the front doing the same.
