when I was spoilerless I got mine at home depot and lowes. They are plastic that you need to paint. They were pretty cheap, maybe a dollar apiece. some were black and some were white. I found them by the screws and such. there is also a company that makes bumper plugs for porsches that you can order some pre painted. they are pretty pricey though. I will see if I can find their website.

Thanks..I'm not going spoilerless but the Gt 500 one I bought only uses 2 holes so I don't need fancy..I'll check the depot and Lowes out..

Ahhh, that is the same thing I did(GT500 spoiler), I didnt cover the 2 extra trunk holes with anything. I think the 3M tape actually covers the holes. Obviously, not with the intention of filling them or anything.

just taking the extra precaution against water. Interesting about the tape covering holes. Maybe i'll just fill holes w/ silicone or something

They are 3/8" plugs. I also used silicone sealant to after I installed to make sure no water got in.

This thing was very frustrating. It is very hard to line up holes for screws and be careful w/double stick tape at the same time. Sure enuff,my spoiler is off by a centimeter and I could only get one screw in. The tape is stuck so hard that I dont want to deal w/taking it off , cleaning it, and replacing it. On top of that some areas near the ends aren't fully stuckProlly come loose after it gets wet a few times..We'll see

I took the deck lid off, had a body guy epoxy some plates under the holes, fill the holes, and then repaint the entire decklid Alloy for me. Then he blended the tops of the rear quarters so the new paint was not noticable...

Me either... I went with a CDC ducktail combo, but I needed to have the decklid finished before putting the new spoiler on.

Plugs (in general) seem unfinished IMO

So the spoiler didn't cover the original holes?

Nope, not the CDC ducktail style.

I installed a Roush spoiler on my wife's vert a few weeks back and that DID cover the existing holes (re-used them, in fact).

So all that work made sense for the CDC I didn't want to drill the sides w/ the Roush
