The first one that was auctioned @ Barrett Jackson had the old school ones on it

 

I may eventually put 1 or both my pairs up on ebay.

Since I will have a "FORD" rocker stripe, it may look redundant to have "POWERED BY FORD" above it.

I'll decide once I get my car.

For the price difference, most won't argue and most won't notice the difference....

I sold both of my sets and bought an air compressor with the profits!

 

The Scott Drake aluminum/stainless repro ones from the 289 AC cobra look MUCH better then the plastic ford ones that look like every other ford emblem. You can get them for 25 each at partscheap.com, they look like jewlery. A lot of plastic ford emblems in the new style are having the paint chip off on them, so time will tell if the PBF's hold up. I was on the bandwagon for the new ones but after I put the SD 'real' ones on, they look SOOO much better. Everybody that sees it freaks out over them. The plastic ones look like powerstroke emblems. I've had a few hot rodders identify exactly where they came from instantly and loved it.

Just make sure you line them up right, those suckers STICK.

Yea I bought a Shelby set and later sold them on fleebay. I decided they weren't what I wanted and I made some $$$ too.
