Spinners look sharp on your stang Paul definatly going to do the same to mine when ever it shows up! I was thinking of useing the scott drake ones for the 66 mustang to see if they fit the 05 ( parts are cast and bolt on) but might get in the way of the lug nuts .Thanks to davids 2 toys this makes for a great improvement of not loosing the spinners to thieves.

Gracias!

Those rears fill up the well nicely. Maybe I won't need new wheels when I get mine, just tires, and probably the Eibach lowering springs.

Thanks!!

Ahhh.....Saaaaweeeet!!! :worship:

It doesn't look like those 275's on the rear bulge out very much. Thought it would be more on an 8" rim. I like a little bulge for curb protection anyway.

Now get some limo tint all the way around. Oh wait, you're in Kalifornistan. I used to live out there, in the Carlsbad/Oceanside area. Used to play the game. Get tint, drive around with fingers resting on window buttons. Roll down when approaching cops, eventually get a fix it ticket, have tint removed, go to CHP station to have it signed off, then get retinted. Gets expensive after a while.

I didn't think it was recommend to mount a 275/40 series tire on an 8" rim. The spinners look great, as do the 275's.

Yeah, big brugger is watching everything you do.......cause it's the Right thing to do! Actually, I can't blame the COPS for not wanting the side windows tinted too much, too many wackos out there. I'll have the rear window blacked out before Summer comes around again.

If those caps bolt/screw to the center face of the wheel, it won't work out. The '05 rims only have the center hole with no facing provision to bolt/screw to.

No kidding! I am not sure that I don't like the spinners with the "Ford" on them better. The ones I have, I ordered back in October and I just received them. Did you purchase yours from Ford parts dept.?

Looks real good! I'll have to look into the spiners w/Ford logo on them.. I got a locking gas cap from the parts department at my dealer. Works great, give your dealer a try. It was around $26 I belive.

The idea of using a dowel to secure the spinners is a good one. However, the diameter of closet dowel is not going to do the trick, at least not on the '05 wheels.

With the rear wheels, I cut two plugs using a 2-1/4"
hole saw. The plugs were cut from a regular 2"x4".

To secure the front spinners, we cut the same plug as for the rear and split it down the middle, due to the protrusion of the axle (grease) cap.
