What do you guys think about a gallery or section to just see the different rims put on the 05? I dont know the effort involved with creating that as I am hardly computer savvy, but I sure would like to see everyones different styles of rims? Opinions,
Thanks

Both the idea about the wheels and the stripes are great. There is a thread titled "post your stripes" but that has a lot more that just pictures. It would be nice to have a thread where you could look at the stripe pictures (or wheels) and have information pertaining to it. No comments, just the facts.

OK. Two Pics of my 05GT with 19's (8.5 front and 9.5 rear). I like the wheels however, I think the rear is a little to "slight". I think it does not fill the wheel well. Give me your opinion. I'm not to good with tire sizes so.. If my 285-35ZR19s are to low profile, am i right that i need something on the order of 285-40ZR19s or more if i want to keep the same width??? I like the 70's look with the tires to the edge or outside of the wheel well. Also if anyone knows what bolt pattern and off set are on the Ford GT (not the mustang GT) I would really appreciate knowing.....

I'm not sure what you mean by "slight", but the only way to get a larger sidewall AND keep your speedo reading right, is to go to a smaller wheel (18" wheel) If you want more sidewall and want to keep the same width, you'll have to go to a 285/40/18. In fact that size will be closer to the stock tire diameter of 27.2" than the ones you have now... by one tenth of an inch.
As for filling the wheel well, it doesn't matter how big or small your wheels are. If you keep the tire diameter the same as stock (that's what keeps your speedo correct) the wheel well gap won't change. If anyone tells you different, they're wrong.

Lower your car, you will be amazed at the difference. I had the same feeling as you, after I got my rims. After I lowered it, it was all good

And yes, I agree with the wheel thread for the 05. NO COMMENTS, JUST FACTS.

Agree with the gallery. Finding it hard to decide on what size to go for myself...19s or 20s. Plus the photos posted should all be taken from the same angles i.e. side-on (full and close-up), rear corner, front corner etc.
