Just got my November copy of Mustang Enthusiast. It had a pretty informative article on replacing the Ford emblem with the new Pony emblem cap. I've noticed several Topics posted lately about the new Pony emblems and caps.

I scanned and attached the article if anyone is interested in performing this mod.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why are they having you cut out the original logo so you that you snap in the new one? If we're talking about the '05 upgrade wheels, then the '06 pony center caps fit them just fine. You can just buy the engire center cap piece from our awesome parts guy KC. I think you can email him at clevparts@aol.com.

I bought the '06 pony upgrade wheel center caps from him and it was easy as can be to replace the original ones. I used a screwdriver (using something stiff but non-metallic might be better so you can't accidentally scrape something, though I didn't have a problem) to take the original caps off and then popped the new caps on.

It just takes a couple of minutes and I much prefer them to the original Ford oval caps. Also, you keep your original caps and could put them back on if you wanted to for some reason. So email KC for his hotsheets and give him a call and you can order them from him and not have to do any cutting of the original parts.

I think that they are drilling out the original caps to make use of the standard Ford center caps that the Bullitt wheels use. This was probably before anyone knew about the pony caps on the 2006.
