What would be the proper backspacing to use on a GT for aftermarket rims -- 17 and 18", to get proper clearance in the rear, and appearance in the front?

I was thinking 9" rims.

Saleen is running their 20's on the 2005, with 6.11 inches (26mm).

Suggestions???
