What tire size for best traction

I changed over to 4.10 gears and all I am doing is burning the tires,
I have the stock 17X8 rims now but I have purchased some 18X9,
so my questions are, What is the widest tire with the tallest sidewall avalable in 18x9 inch wheel. I don't like the low profile look, did I make a mistake on getting the 18 inch rims?

Also Show me your tire pics, 17 and 18 inch wheels also include dimensions and tire specs

Using a 18x8.5 and a 18x9.5 I like the BFG KDW nt's with a 255/45/18 in front and a 285/40/18 in the back Pretty meaty! I believe you could use the same size tires on your 18x9's You Can Check the Bfg site for tire Specs. Outside Diameter Width etc.

I have the 18x10's in the rear with Nitto 285-40-18. I hope they hold with the new 4.10's that are a week away from being installed. I am really looking for the 4.10's to get me better seat of the pants take off, not really into drag racing bit.
