I think it will look fine. Buy the Duplicolor kit and see for yourself, if it doesn't look like it will work, take it back! I don't think it has to be an exact match, and the yellow I saw at Wallyworld looked really close to your yellow.

Tip though, go to the craft department and buy a set of paint brushes for a few bucks. It is much easier to do the calipers with a finer brush that the one in the kit. My 2 cents.

I don't see how it could be any better, it was easy to apply and hasn't chipped or faded yet.

The only problem with spraying them is you have to mask everything off very carefully. I used the brush on kit, and was very careful with the application. It didn't take long and the results were great. Here a pic since I have no problems posting pic's of my car.

Now that someone mentioned it, the other kit I used was G2. It worked great and held up as long as I had the car, so no complaints from me. It takes a few coats, so don't plan on driving your car for the weekend, and if you don't have a garage you better find one - because you need to have all 4 wheels off and a dust free environment in order to get the best job.

Everyone has their opinions, but next time I do it I will use the brush on type again. I just felt I had more control with it than the spray, and there was no worries about painting something I didn't want painted.

1 word Duplicolor.....best for paint products!! my uncle sprayed his calip[ers red and they came out awesome!!!

Hey Rene check out their website i think they have the perfect yellow for u

Duplicolor Caliper Kit

heres a pic...

oh and they do sell it at NAPA....hope this helps

BTW Derek, did i give permision to use my pic? J/K
Duplicolor is a brush on application not sprayed. You actually
use less than a 1/4 of the can. Also used it to fill in the Mustang
letters in the door sills. Applied with a tooth pick.
It has been almost 2 months and the calipers still look new!!

I did mine two at a time and didn't have any problems.

Has anyone used 2 colors. I'm thinking about the brackets black and the calipers red. Anyone seen this. How does the red look with redfire. I'm sure it won't match, so I also was leaning to black everything.

Do you mean like this? I painted mine all red, so I made this chop from a pic of them.

I used the duplicolor kit on my calipers, worked great and the paint is holding up well even after some serious braking at a few autocrosses.

Chris,

Where did you get the pony decal? Very nice!!

Did you do all 4 wheels, or just the front 2?

Hey Rene. A little off topic, but you might be interested. I painted the part on my tires tht says "p zero nero" with a red paint pen. It turned out great. For $3 you can't go wrong.
Have a picture...

and where did you get the paint pen?
[/b][/quote]

I got the paint pen at Target for like $3. I bought three pens. I only used about 1 and a half. But I can tell it will need some touch up so 3 is a good number.

I'll try to post some pics. They are not very good quality pics I must warn you...

eBay... or the place I got them from also advertises a website called XenonMods.com. In my case I only put stickers on the front as the rear calipers are WAY too small.

Yup, I used XenonMods.com too. They give you extra stickers in case you mess up. The rear calipers are too small. I was able to put a sticker on part of the caliper. But it does not show thru the upgraded wheel. I do not know about the standard wheel.
