I saw a picture on here the other day of a hood that I really liked and now I cant find it. It looks alot like the RK sport california dream hood, but doesnt have the rising cowl. If anyone can post pics or info I would appreciate it. Thanks so much!

So you do not like the Cali Dream Hood? Well there is a lot of people here who do. I don't think it is the hood though it looks more like this one(also another reason):

Thats the hood on the concept. I don't think anyone makes one exactly like that. At least not that I have seen. I know what you mean about the cowl though. I like the concept hood for that reason as well.

I like this hood the best but I think $850 is too pricey and I am not sure of the quality. It is exactly like a 68 gt500 hood.

Well there is always the gefracing "Legend" Hood. IMO a really nice looking hood.

One in white/blue stripes

and one in grey/black stripes

Also just as an FYI, I will be getting the gefracing hod, on my torch red/white stripes
then cervanis red louvers and side scoops as they look closest to a 67 GT350/500

That car was designed by our own burningman. I'm not sure what problem you have with it?

The cowl on the hood isn't that bad. It will also help let some heat out if you leave the center weather strip out.

FYI....Fang mentioned via email they are working on the Mystery 8 hood for the stock front end...It's their next project. Early release date should be around the first of February. Hopefully they come out around then....I'm waiting for that hood whcih will fit with the factory front.

With the champion fiberglass hood I wonder if hoodpins are a requirement. I know theyare not on the GEFracing hood, although if the champion hood does not require hood pins then im going to have to think about those 2 hoods now.
