This is what I'm thinking - Opinions

Well this is what I am thinking for my car. Opinions welcome.

- Gt500 Front-end conversion

- CS6 Hood

- Blacked Racelines or Shelby Razor Wheels blacked out

To better visualize what I'm thinking - I've included this photoshopped image I did on the CS6.

Thoughts??

Also does anyone have pics of what the CS6 hood looks like from the drivers perspective?

Thanks

-Deric

Can't help with other perspectives of the hood, but that looks absolutely sick! Adds a real touch of "don't fawk with me" to the car without looking overdone. Can't wait to see the real thing!

I'm kinda leaning towards no stripes though

That's the hood Ford should've used on the GT500.
I agree about leaving it stripeless. (and I tend to like stripes)
Can't say about the wheels w/o seeing pics, but keep them 19's or smaller.

For the back end, leave the stock spoiler or a ducktail, but stay away from the GT500 style spoilers.
I think spoilerless would look too plain compared to the front.

Just saw the Rebl pics.
Too "plain" IMO.
There are plenty of other wheel choices out there. I'm not one for anything flashy, but those just don't do it for me. And, IIRC, there are one or two other brands out there that look almost exactly like those. (it's been a while since I looked at black rims)

Wheel

The ones above are the Shelby Razor (American Racing) blacked out. I contacted American Racing to see if they would offer a darker color or black chrome.

If they offer the Shelby Razor in black (like what you just posted a pic of) there's no question which ones I'd choose. I'd almost consider giving up my black FR500's for those. (I'd even put up with the big smooth lip)

So other than the color and the name Shelby, is there any difference between the Razor and the Shelby Razor?

razors

No difference just branding. I also updated my pic of the Razors to the AR version. I should be able to order my GT500 front end in about a week and a half.

Well you were the inspiration. I took the front end off of one of your pics. Next time I'm down to see the parents (They live in Pauls Valley). Maybe we can meet up on my way through.

WOW! It's looking AMAZING (photochop you first made)! I think if Ford offered that from the factory it would be worth the 90,000 price tag! haha well maybe not! Great looking "future" car you got there!

Well American Racing doesn't do special orders. They recommended a body shop. I guess I could get it done when I get the hood and frontend painted.
