What do you think of this?

As some of you know my stang got trashed a few weeks back in an accident (old lady ran a light, hammered me, bye bye front end). so I have been searching, and scouring for the coolest parts i could find. this is my quick and dirty photoshop of the idea i came up with for the car. it is a mixture of the nick gavriles boss 69 kit, and the halibrand twisted mustang front end. the paint would be flat or satin black with flat white faded stripes.

that first one would be SICK!!! Is Halibrand already selling the body kit parts?? Good Luck with this. I had a similar situation a few years back. Hit a deer and ended up using the insurance money to get the Cervinis front end.

I think it would look pretty **** good. My only gripe is the side pipes. They look like they belong on a big rig. Stick with the halibrand pipes.

This is the best I could come up with from the pictures I could find. I didn't try turning the car to flat black though. I just had a few extra minutes. This is actually the ronaele design. I couldn't find a good angle of the Halibrand car, but they're close.

Are you able to get the Halibrand kit? My understanding is that it comes from Thalon Designs in Sweden http://www.thalondesign.com/ I wrote them a while back and they finally replied 3 months later. Said the kit is only sold as a whole and not in pieces and that it's $12,000 for the kit with a $3000 down payment.

I have ordered the front clip pieces from steedamidwest.com the guys name is rick. The parts are being made as we speak and scheduled to be finished within a couple weeks. I was able to order the front clip for about 1000 bucks + shipping. I will let you know how it turns out.

that is a different story....

there is no site that sells it. I tried like hell for 2 years to track the kit down with no luck. I found a phone number online for mustang69 inc. which goes to a voicemail box that is full. I called this number over and over with no luck until one day out of the blue I get a call from the man himself. We B.S.'d for about a half hour about the status of his operation which is in the process of moving into a larger facility at the moment and as a result they can't get their voicemail from the old mailbox. the new operation is called made in detroit. The price for the work that he quotes dealers is 6,800 dollars. although there are some other modifications that are made in the process i think. I have been waiting for 5 days now to get a quote and timeline from them. he seems like a hell of a nice guy, but must be busy as hell. I dont have the number on hand right now. PM me for contact info and i will be glad to give it to you.
