Angry Well This Sucks!

I was backing out of my friend's house after the SuperBowl and made contact with a plastic garage bin. I saw it move but couldn't believe this was the result today when I finally looked at it.

Can DentPros's or someone like that fix this? Paint doesn't appear to be damaged.

Ouch Rich...that surely does suck!!!!!! But I do not see any sharp crease in the metal. I have had some dents remove by Dent Wizard that I didn't think was possibe! My bet is "YES" they can take it out with no bodywork.

Well Rich, my bet is that the dent will require atleast a new supercharger of some sort to repair it properly.......probably an upgraded fuel system too.

Whoa. Downer, man. I hope that pops out like a jack-in-the-box.

And yea, get the supercharger.

Not to be the bearer of bad news. The location of that dent will probably require some "repair" work. Which would include a little dough, and paint.
Goodluck

Not the typical exterior mod we like to see around here. Don't feel too bad, I backed into a post just before storing the car. Fortunately I was able to buff out the damage. Yours should pop out as long as the paint isn't damaged.

They might be able to just pop it out from behind. I dont see any paint crease, so it shouldnt be that bad. I can't believe a trash can did that.

My 97 got damaged by a drunk idiot trying to set off the car alarm. The dealer and a local body shop both quoted me over $1,500.00 to repair the damage (replace quarter panel, paint, etc). I brought it to a guy that went by the name of "dent wizard". He spend 2 hours on it. Working on it from underneath using various tools he completely removed the damage and charged me $150.00.

Hmmmmm, How fast were you backing up? Just kidding.
That does suck. I'm sure any halfway decent shop can get you car back to looking good as new.

What was inside that plastic garage bin? An empty steel keg of beer?

Might be more than a $100 though, that's what they (pdr guys) charge for quarter size dings.

Well here's a picture of the trash can that I hit. It was the "big" one. I got past 2 smaller ones and the last big can got me.

BTW I has DentPro's work on the car today. The guy comes to my town every Tuesday and I was lucky enough to have him work on it for about 45 minutes today and he will finish it next Tuesday. He had another appointment told me up front that he couldn't complete the entire job today. He said that it wouldn't be 100% perfect but it would be farly hard to tell unless you were looking for it. I figured that $225 for him VS $500 deductable and lots of paint was worth a try. I'll post a picture next week after the guy is done. He is the owner and has been doing it for 15 years. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
