Hmm, nice to know that.

I'm looking at this combo, 255/40/18 in front and 295/35/18 in the rear. Will 295's fit with out rubbing??? I plan to lower the car with the Eibach Pro kit.

There were a couple people that wanted pics from above to see the front fitment. As you can see they line up perfectly with the fenders. Also, I have taken some corners very hard over the last couple days and no rubbing at all.

That pic of your car in your sig looks pretty sweet. I have always wondered what wheels you have?

Oops, sorry about that, I guess I just tuned out the smaller sizes. I agree with fastduo, this car needs a wider rim up front. In answer to your next question, well actually I think it's answered in a couple posts down...275 fits easily up front, afterall - that's what I'm running and it's on an 18x10 up front.

Ok, so 275's for the front but would a 295 fit in the rear??? I like the staggered look. I'd have to run 275/35/18 in front and 295/35/18 in the rear. No one makes a 295/40/18 tire.

I would say the 295 should work on this wheel in the rear. It would be close with the Offset.

Tire Rack has a 285/40/18 as the recommended size for the 18X10 on the rear so the 295 should fit. Tire Rack is usually conservative in their fitment.

Interesting you ask. I actually took a couple pics showing this, as I was going to ask the question to those that have done the GT500 brake upgrade if it will fit.

I have the pics at home, so I will try to remember tonight to post them before I leave for the holiday.

I'm probably not going to have a chance to post it so I went out and measured. With the stock brakes (up front) there is a 1/2 inch between the caliper and the spokes. I know with the stock wheels it was right up to it - so there is more room than the stock 17x8 bullets.

NICE! Welcome to the club, you are going to love them! Post pics once you get them on. Oh, and I hope your wheels come balanced properly for tirerack - my did not.

Thanks!!! I'm getting my tires locally, I'm only getting the rims from Tire Rack. Once my car gets here I'll post some pics. It's not scheduled to be completed until the end of Jan.

Does anyone have any updates or new pics for us with these wheels?

Has anyone removed the lettering?

No pics yet, waiting till spring to put them on. The lettering appears painted on and not a sticker. It's greyish in color so it doesn't stand out as much as expected.

Hello all,

I recently purchased a set of the Wedsports myself. I got the staggered sizes, 18x9 and 18x10 with 255/45 and 285/40 Goodyear F1 Supercar tires. The fronts weigh 48 lbs and the rears 51. The stock 17" bullitts and Pirellis are 51 as well (on my scale), so while there isn't really any weight savings, it's a pretty light combo for the size. Anyway, here are some pics. Now if only the snow would go away so I could drive it.
