Here's a couple actual pics and WOW, the handling and response improvment is unbelievable!

I have to agree with keeping them gun metal. I would like to get some in chrome myself since my car will be black.

So the handling is vastly improved, but how is the ride quality? Did it change much, stay the same, etc?

how do you think these wheels will handle the abuse or driving on the street? looks awesome, and the 18X10 up front is sweet

I definetly feel more of the road - which I like. The one thing that I forgot about is that these tires are fairly noisy but they stick like glue.

Cheese302 - They are supposed to be pretty strong. They are used quite a bit in road racing applications and I still have a 40 series tire so not as much to worry about.

Looks super nice. There is a guy who races for Steeda that actually uses those wheels on his black GT. You will see his car in some of their ads. The Kumho MX is an awsome tire. I used them all last season on my Mach 1 track car. When they are warmed up they handle almost as well as the dedicated racing tires and wear longer also.
I was very happy with them. Highly recommended.

Thumbs up

Thanks again everyone for all the great compliments. I thought by now I would have had at least one person through out a negative.

I just can't wait to get back into autoX with this car. Next month will be the first time in it and I think it is going to do great!

As for that Steeda car - I saw it and that was one of the things that made me reseach this wheel. I believe, he is running the 18x9 all the way around.

Ah man dude, your killing me with theses pics!!!

I have a Satin Silver 07 GT on order and after seeing the pics of your car I want them in a big way!!! Your car looks sick!!!

I'm a little concerned with ordering the wheels with out having the car but these are close out and if I don't I may not get them. I want to run 18X8's in the front and 18X10's in the rear. Tires will be BFG KDW's 245/45/18 front and 285/40/18 in the rear. Although after getting these I won't have the cash for a suspension kit, that will have to wait.

They don't have 18x8. Only 18x9 and 18x10. Also of note, the 18x9 looks quite a little different with a positve offset. Kind of hard to see here, but this is from an early photoshop that I did using the wheels from another guys car...

IMO-245's are way too small for an 05+. They were OK on my 03 Mach with coilovers but too small for this body style. I have 275' front and 285's rear and they are perfect.

I was just on their site and they show 18X8's, 18X8.5 and 18X9 for the front and 18X10 for the rear. All are in stock.

275/40's on 18X9's ??? Seems a bit large for the front, you don't have any problems turning ???

No problems here-works fine. Just ran over 100 miles at Sebring yesterday (Sunday 11-19-06). Ran without a hitch.
