For those of you that have installed the Webelectric Pony Corral... how exactly does it attach to your stock grille?

I really want to get it, but I am worried that it will attach with zip ties or something tacky like that. (not slamming Webelectric at all - no offense intended)

I think it looks cool and I want to get it - assuming that the mount is substantial.

Zip ties? That's funny.

Go to the web site and click the Online Instructions link on the left menu. You can read the instructions there and see a picture of the clips.

Installed mine the other day. got it for Christmas. Snapped right in, and I didn't even need to do the screwdriver part. It fits like a factory piece.

Gave it a good tug, it'll probably take the grill with it.The mushrooms caps and retaining clips make it a pretty secure install. They'll break it or the grill trying to rip it off, I'm sure.

It seems many attachments were dropped after the forum upgrade. Would folks care to re-post photos of their cars with this grille insert? Thanks!

Thanks to all who posted so far. If anyone has a Tungsten GT with this item, I would love to see it.

FYI...for all you "do-it-yourself'ers". That corral is simply the V6 Pony Package piece from Ford (about 30.00) with the end pieces cut off. I used JB WELD epoxy, ground down some bolts to have a V shaped end, epoxied the bolts to the back of the bars, used fender washers (half-dollar sized) with black rubber fender washers in front (or paint the metal ones black) and bolted the assembly to the grill. You do have to remove the radiator cover to reach behind the grill. It takes about 4hrs for the epoxy to cure (I waited overnite) and placed it on the grill the following day. I've done four pieces, no problems with any of them. Total expense, less than 40.00.

At work now but will post pics later. Have posted this before the crash of 06, pics may be floating in the Windveil Blue 'Vert file.
