Got a sequential kit from WebElectric Products for Christmas - installed it this morning.

Piece of cake. Took about an hour.

Instructions were perfect. Very satisfied.

Make sure you take the time to remove the access panels in the trunk (to get to the tail light mounting hardware). The reverse light socket for both tail light housings was a little stubborn to remove. Otherwise, it was an easy installation.

Don't get in a hurry - do one side at a time.

This was the first mod I did on my 'vert (had the kit waiting before I took delivery of the car). I agree, well designed, great instructions and a simple install

Did you get the wire-in kit or the plug-n-play harness? Either way you can't go wrong , I have them in both my stangs and they are top notch. Can't go wrong and the candy with the kit is good too

I got the wire-in kit... Hard part now is waiting through 4 more months of storage until I can drive the car.

So why is the splice-in kit $50 cheaper? What is so bad about it? What is so nifty about the plug-n-play? Is it really worth the difference? They do the same thing, right?

Yes - and the hazards too. However, there is a way to wire the kit (per the instructions) to disable the sequential brake lights if necessary. The extra materials are included in the kit.

Read my blog if you want to know more about the webelectronics sequentials. I was the one that helped the manufacturer figure out how to disable the burst brake feature.

Response from the Vendor -

"The connections are all soldered, the harnesses are wrapped and then
tested so it is virtually hassle free. Plus, if you want to swap back and
take them to your new car, it's a snap. The hardest part of this swap is
removing the trunk panels."

My experience with WebElectric is that they are very easy to work with - very friendly and responsive.

Agreed, they were an easy install. I installed mine in the same hour I picked her up. Guys at work are like WHAT THA! you had the car 30 min and your taking it apart?

I also like how they light up all 3 tail lights too with parking lights on.

Do they not normally do this? I never really noticed on either the 03 or the 05
