Hrmm... Well, looks like the V6 one can be used to replicate it anyways.

Back in the day - specifically 1968, the Mustang had a Pony and Corral that "floated" on the grille center. Actually they were pinned to specific points on the grille. Those parts have been reproduced for years. So you could easily get one of those corrals and cut the pins off and affix it to the grille with double-sided tape.

All these parts are chromed metal. The link below points to one offering but all the Mustang parts houses have them. Unfortunately, I don't know the size but you could call the place and ask. Prices look pretty fair too.

I've included a pic below that shows the pony and corral mounted on a 68 Mustang. Incidentally, that outer (large) corral is also available if anyone would like to experiment!

This is a part number I was given today for the corral, not sure if it is the pony grille or just the corral? 6R3Z*8213*A and list is 95.19
