Anyone find a company that is going to release standard 18's for the front (that do not need a spacer to clear Brakes) and Deep dish rears. I would love some Anthricites for my WV Blue GT, but I'm not feelin the Deep dish front and Rear look.

MustangTuning has both standard and deep dish Bullits, you can buy a pair of each and... voilÃ*!

here you go:

They also have sets of 2x18x10 + 2x18x9, all deep dish (that's my next mod, in black).

MustangTuning.com only sells the deep dish as a set of four I think.

I stand corrected. Still, if you only need 2 of them, you can sell the other pair to someone interested in a similar set-up.

The standard bullitts and the Deep Dish actually have two slightly different looks to 'em...There was a thread a while back about it.

I did a little research to find that thread. I had gotten in touch with Mustang tuning about it to see how alike the regular lip and deep dish wheels were. Everyone can judge for themselves here. Has anyone actually gotten regular lip on front and deep lip (18x9 or 18x10) in rear yet? I remember there was a thread were the TMS member "adnlyn" was looking to split an order so he could have the deep dish bullitts only on the rear.

I just went back and read my post again that I linked to above, and I am starting to have second thoughts on the similarities of the two wheels. They really aren't that different, espcially since the front and rear will be about 5' away from each other, and you'll never see them at the exact same time. But what's even more important is that the wheels are different anyway... in the fact that one has about a 1" lip and the other has about a 3" lip. So, if they are a little different as far as how much the spokes curve, etc. it's not a big deal.

I will post a pic of Burke0011's front wheel with the 18x9 "regular lip" bullitt wheel by Wheel Replicas (on the left) and also a pic of adnlyn's front wheel with the 18"x9" deep dish bullitt wheel by Verde Topline. The 18x9 deepdish and the 18x10 deep dish look exactly the same from the side of the car. So, they would be the same. Looking at these two wheels though, even just inches apart from each other, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I think if enough people e-mail mustangtuning.com and request that they sell the 18x9 and 18x10 deep dish wheels in pairs so that you could also get a pair of 18x9 regular lip wheels for the front, I think they might start selling them in pairs instead of in sets of 4. As long as you tell them that you know the wheels aren't exactly the same, they should be covered on that end. Technically all they need to do legally is write somewhere on the site that they aren't exactly alike. Or even say that there are no returns on these wheels... just like it was a custom order. Also, maybe they would agree to sell pairs of the deep dish wheels if two people got together and ordered 2 deep and 2 regular at the same time.

If I had the money right now, I'd order a set of 4 18x9 regular lip bullitts and a set of the 18/9 and 18/10 deep dish bullitts and try it out. Then, sell the other 4 to someone else. Someone with money please do this. I really think having staggered bullits would look killer.

Maybe I'm saying the same thing as Acadian above but how about this?

Deep dish on the back (blue car below),

and wheels like cambostang (silver car below) has (wheel replicas. 18x9 36mm offset) on the front http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=542983

Cambostangs' are a little deeper than the standard bullits so there wouldn't be as big of a difference and the front wheels would work with the brakes.

This is exactly what I'm saying. I think this combo would look awesome. I have 9 months until I plan to get wheels (my next birthday) so someone will get this setup by then so I can see.

One thing I noticed is that the hub is different in both situations. The black example and the anthracite example, and it looks like there are different variations of the anthracite color as well.

The color of the two wheels is the only real concern IMO... and that would be hard to tell in two seperate pics. I guess the thing to do would be to contact mustangtuning.com and ask them how close the two different companies are as far as the anthracite color.
