Upr Fuse Box Cover And A/c Valve Pics Inside!!!

Installed the UPR "brushed" aluminum fuse box cover and the a/c valve caps today.

The fuse box cover goes over the stock over with double sided 3m tape holding it together.

Here's some pics with the SCT emblem.

Pics of the a/c valve covers. UPR recommends using a dap of clear silicone to get them to stick. I did it without the silicone and have to say it's pretty snug. I don't think they'll be coming of unless I pull them.

Here's a pic of the antenna delete. Sorry no pics of it installed because I'm painting in black. Will post pics of final product ASAP.

2 out of 62, now! With the cover on, I like the SCT emblem like in the 4th pic (021.jpg).

I'm debating between getting a pony like the pic below or using one of my GT fender emblems.

The pony looks huge, and isn't your MGW oil cap going to say GT? That will be two GT's too close.

Tom's got a good point.

The big question... What to put on that cover?

The SCT emblem. With the cover, it'll look perfect centered. Mine looks ok the way it is, but if I had a cover I would have centered it.

Leo, if our cars were tied for Best of Show somewhere... do you think the SCT emblem placement would decide it? I'm just saying it isn't something you have to be as picky on.

Yes, it just may. When I go around voting, I always look at the attention to detail and whether or not placement of certain things (ie. emblems, stickers, etc) agree with my taste.

Sure, if one was half hanging off, or crooked when it was meant to be straight, I would have to agree. But between one that is slanted and centered... and one that is straight and centered... I would have to kick a judge in their nuts if that was the deciding factor.

My point is... do what ever you like best, Leo! They both look good and tasteful.

Do whatever you want. Mods should make YOU happy as I'm sure you're not doing it to make others happy.

Please remind me to wear my nutguard if I ever go judge cars in FL.

I agree the pony is a bit on the big side and the GT would be to close to the oil cap. The only reason I don't want to put the SCT emblem is because then I feel obligated to get something from the other vendors items I have on my car. I know I already have CDC and K&N advertised but I had no choice in those.

As promised a pic of the upr antenna delete after paining it with flat black spray paint and three coats of clearcoat. IMO it matches perfectly.
