Question Unknown Chin Spoiler

Does anybody know what chin spoiler this is and where to purchase? I've never seen this one before I think it looks sharp...maybe even functional.

Thanks in advance.

I think that I may be able to answer this one Have some personal knowledge here.

It is the Boss Shinoda chin spoiler, and yes it is supposed to be functional.

Here is the link to their store: http://www.teamshinoda.com/Cart/

The spoiler is available in either in black or white. I ordered the base one (which is white) and then had a body-shop paint it to match. There are 7 bolts along the bottom of the spoiler that secure it to the car. Takes about 15 minutes to install.

Thanks for noticing!

Thanks for the quick response...did you have to drill into car to intall or does it use existing fasteners like the CDC spoiler? I'm thinking about this with some stripes but I'm not sure how that would look. Any more pics from the side or different angles? Thanks

You will need to drill into the bottom of the bumper to make the bolt holes. I had to jack the car up a bit to get the drill under there, wish I had a right-angle drill when I did it.

I will take some other shots when I get a chance and post them for you.

I've got a black one sitting in my garage. Took it off of my car, because I was tired of scraping it all over the place. I wouldn't mind getting rid of it, actually. It's not going back on the '07 when it shows up. There are a few chips out of the front of the spoiler where it's hit, but if you want it painted, the body shop should be able to fix that easily.

I have had mine on for months. Yes if you take a ramp or something steep it will rub. But it is very thick fiberglass and can take it. I use some 3m L door molding to keep the front edge looking new. I also installed two stainless stand offs to allow some adjustment.

Try this www.sfxperformance.com
3d Carbon was offering them also but never had them in stock...
I installed them through the down braces on the grill then down to the spoiler, so only about half of them are visable...

What is the 3m molding you are referring to. Can you explain some more and maybe post some pics.

Thanks much

Just go to a trim store, I used Auto Trim and Design. Its just rubber molding in the shape of a "L" and sticks like steel!. I just installed it around the bottom, It helps when your car is black and the spoiler is black and the trim is black. I does a good job covering up any nicks and you can change it as needed...

I dont have a close up but will try to get one...

It may just be my eyes playing tricks on me but it looks like you may want to straighten up those bottom stripes a bit.........

it is not that easy to get them straight, the curves of the car make life interesting. They look good from 50' and 50mph. Soon enough I will get them painted.
