maybe if it were something other than just a straight line , but the front to back thing is not helping the car . (sorry )

It's not bad, nothing that you'd see in a parking lot and go "what was that guy thinking?", but it's doesn't really add anything to your car's look either.

It's not sitting with me right. The part that cuts off the rear fender flare really does not sit well with me. IMHO I don't think any S197 Mustang has body lines that work well with pin stripes.

I dunno what direction to go with the car. The Terlingua theme was clearly the wrong one for me.

Yeah, it's a tough one. It's a great looking car, but it seems to need something to really make it "pop". I keep coming back and looking at the pics, but so far I'm drawing a blank of comming up with a suggestion.

I went from
*the date was wrong on the picture it should say 2006

to

to today

just to give some ideas.

The FRPP springs and Steeda Street Wing made a BID difference to the car. The hood is my newest mod and i am planning on some new rims or a GT/CS front and rear bumper.

Luke, JMO, but since your wheels are black, I would stick with black striping. If you want to mix in some red, that would probably look good, but I'd start with some kind of thicker black stripe somewhere first. Basically, the wheel area is 90% black, with 10% red from the calipers....sticking with a similar color ratio for the striping might flow really well with the overall look of the vehicle.

Ira, your ride's lookin good. ...but I vote for keeping the CDC chin.

Maybe a bit higher so it does not intersect the wheel arch. Somehow it does not look right.

Exactly what I thought as soon as I saw it.

Thanks everyone! Yes I will change it. The whole time I looked at the rear wheel well I thought it looked off, too. Ira, your car is awesome! I will have to look for some black pinstripe tape that is thicker. Good ideas!

Pinstripping doesn't really flow with our cars. Maybe a superstripe? Like reddragon777 did! His car is hott!

I know one of the members on TMS has stripes that start out narrow and thicken up toward the rear of the car. Wish I could remember who it was, cuz it looked pretty slick.

Luke, I found a picture on my computer of the member's ride I was talking about. If anyone recognizes this as their car, please advise, as it looks great! Unfortunately, I couldn't remember whose car it was.

Not too bad, but here is my suggestion. I would bring that pin stripe up to the next highest body line that way you have a constant, unbroken line. That will help the look a lot. Then I would lower it and tint the windows. The red stripe is doing a good job of tying that color into the design of the car, no all you have to do is fill in some of the blanks parts.

I would drop the drop the pin stripe and add some better wheels, like Bullets..... The car is kind of just plain and a decent stripe package would be a huge plus...
