Trying to decide on exterior mods... Opinions welcome

Ok, so this is what I have come up with so far. I already have the grill stuff on the way along with the shorty antenna. I'm having trouble picking a front fascia. I want something subtle, but not as plain as the GT. The CDC chin spoiler looks good, but has been done a lot. Right now I'm thinking GT/CS front and rear bumpers. I haven't decided on a spoiler, either. I definitely like the wingless look, but I like ducktails also. Let me know if you have any ideas.

oh yeah, I have not decided on what wheels, either, but I'm thinking either FR500's or something by Shelby.

i think you have to add a ducktail or spoiler. Though the factory spoiler isnt the best, i just think wingless looks a little empty.

Glad you mentioned wheels..I love the chrome bullits but everyone has them. I love my front Roush fascia w/out spoiler on the bottom

The Roush front end is too aggressive for what I'm trying to achieve, and I'm personally not a fan of it. Not sure why, it just never appealed to me. I think Roush did better with the Sn95's.

Just do the legend splitter

Cervinis makes another splitter but needs painting, and 3d carbon makes a nice chin spoiler(not the boy-racer facia).

I'm not a fan of any type of rear wing unless its a theme car.

Front fascia

Check out the Xenon front fascia, looks like it has a chin.

I like the GT/CS and the Street Scene fronts. Which of your ponies is this going on, the red or grey? The grey will automatically make the front less subtle than the red. GT/CS would be plenty on red, but maybe not enough on grey.

This is going on the red pony. The MG one has a full C series kit.

Thanks for all your replies so far guys. I hadn't really paid attention to the Xenon bumper. I do like that. As of right now, it's between the GT/CS bumper and the Xenon bumper pictured above.

I'll probably try plugging the holes and going wingless for a while. If I decide to go with a spoiler, it'll probably be the CDC wing with the pony emblem. I'm sure that'll look good with the SHR honeycomb insert.

Any other opinions?

It's the GTAP scoop. I never liked it before, but it's grown on me. I can't wait to see this next to my Cobra II, since the scoops are about the same.

I'd do the GT/CS front bumper and leave it wingless, and the FR500 in polished or chrome would look great. Or even the Roush wheels would look good too.

You need a Roush rear spoiler on that car

While I appreciate the input, the Roush wing is definitely too aggressive. I want everything to look like it came that way. I don't want people to be able to look at it and say, oh, he added that spoiler. Instead, I want them to ask me if it came like that.

FR500's are definitely at the top of my list, though, I'm quite partial to anthracite. But Chrome is growing on me.

Fading rocker stripes would really set it off. LOL

Really now.

'07 V6 wing or delete. V6 wing: low cost and bolts up with stock holes.

Lol, that's funny. I'll definitely use my car as a test mule before I send out everyone's stripes. Without stripes over the top, I don't know if I'll like them. But we'll see.

I decided on my wheels. I made a chop earlier, but I'm not with that computer right now, but I'm going with CS69's. I'll wait for the 18's to come out. I chopped several different wheels on, and they looked ok. But as soon as I put the CS69's on, my girlfriend and I looked at each other and said "yes".

The V6 wing is a definite possibility. Only thing that bothers me is the two small humps on top. But I could get over that. I still have a lot of thinking to do.

More grill stuff came in today. I'll post pictures probably tomorrow.

I can't believe you're going with the 69's, and 18's for that matter! I purposely didn't mention those to you because I wanted to be the first TR with them. As long as you're not going chrome, I'll be alright.

Seriously, can you post a pic of your 69's photochop? Hopefully you chopped the chrome ones. I was asking for a pic of a Stang with them in this thread: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=64135

Oh, and check out this pic of chrome CT-R's and a nice hood:

Starting to look a little familiar. I am not doing the CDC corral on mine, or the fog light bezels, but instead went for the chrome strip around the grill.

I'm going with black, so you going with chrome is safe. Here's what mine would look like with the black, and what the chrome would look like, also, for you.
