The only thing holding the entire panel are the push pins, but they stick into the trunk panel by almost 1/2". The box is held on by bolts/nuts to the panel. It's held so far, and I've even slammed the trunk a few times without thinking about it.

At first when I saw the waferboard/butcher paper combo I started laughing, pointing at the screen, and saying, "wow, look what this bozo is doing to ruin his car."

I've seen some pretty ridiculous mods here on TMS from time to time and it's all I can do to not say anything other than "it's your car, enjoy it" or something like that.

THEN I continued to scroll down... and I became very impressed!

Great job!
