Be sure to apply the tape to the part well - 30 inches across the top, 6.5 on a side, 6 in in two strips on the bottom, and 2x2.5" strips near the center vertically to stabilize and keep it from vibrating. This will also help keep water out but allow what does get in to drain away.

In over a year we haven't had any failures or separations, and I don't want yours to be the first...
