My Mustang Tuning 18x9/18x10 deep dish set will be arriving early this week and I am not sure what to get for tire sizes. I like either the Nitto 555's or BF Goodrich KDW's(with the wild, alternate tread: although I heard these are loud). I was originally looking at putting on 255/45's(which appear to be the popular size to get) for the front and 295/45's for the back. But after looking at photos for a while, I think 295 is visually just a little too big of a difference in size for me compared to the fronts. I'm thinking now 285/40 or 275/40 for the rears. I have seen this combo and was wondering if the sidewall size difference between the front and the back is really that noticable?

What about 245/40's on the front and 275/40's on the rear as an option?

I can't answer your question as far as the sidewall size goes. I have the combo you mentioned above 295/45s and 255/45s and I think they look great. Have a look at mine if you like. my wheels and tires combo

I have also been looking for new tires.
The sizes I am looking at are 275/40 18 in back and 255/45 18 in front on 9" wheels.
Looking at the outside diam. and width of each, the 275/40's are 26.8 D. and 10.9W and the 255/45's are at 27.0 D and 10W.
I think these would look good. I think you would also be okay withe the 285/40's.
I think these are the same wheel sizes Brad has on PSH also if you want to see pictures on the car.
