Does anyone know if there are smoked covers available for the05 Gt fogs ? If not, could window tint be used to hide them a bit . I like them but wish they were not as obvious.

Getting window tint to work well on a convex surfact might be a challenge. I haven't seen any covers yet, but I'd think at least one supplier has them in process.

I kind of thought an amber bulb would look good the fog lamps, but that is just me.

From back in the day, I too would like the look of an amber lens cover or bulb. That look goes back to the late sixties and early seventies, the amber was used in the high beam, just to be different.

Is this what you are talking about? Sprayed with VHT nightshade, then buffed and polished.

Yes they are available. The material is thick not like window tint. I purchased removeable (velcro) smoke covers fot the headlights and they did have fog light covers too. around $65 for the pair but they glue on like window tint. The place was out in CA and I might have found them on E bay. If this issue is still open I'll post the address when package arrives.
Ninosport.com might be the place. I purchased my tail light covers there.

I talked about using window tint on the lights. months ago. When you have your windows done ask for material to do the lights.Tint guy would not do it for me. 10% should do it as you still want light.
Roll on

Make sure you check your state laws on this kind of stuff folks.

I think that 05 looks very sweet... the issue is, in CA, I wouldnt get 5 ft down the street without a handful of tickets... sigh

As it is my tint is illegal, and I sweat it everytime a cop comes near me, that and I am missing my front plate... wonder what happened to it???

aahhhh!!!! Who cares if it is illegal? There are tons and tons of cars out there that are Illegal, but you wouldn't now it.

I have something similar on my tail lights. As long as it is not apparent that they are blacked out, such as the plastic overlays of old no one is going to care.

I personally wouldn't do it to my ride though.

I just washed my car and I retract my comment about lights being flat. They do have a very slight roundness to them. I appologize.
