I was reading the install for the ss ducktail and it says the screws are just for added security. Dont have to have them but could help. Just wondering for those who have installed them did you drill the holes and use the screws? If you did does it really seem to help or is it just an extra safety precaution? Want to get a ducktail and was thinking of getting this one since the cdc doest have the cutout for 3ed brake light. Thanks

No screws for me either and my shop recommended against it. They said the tape will be fine and more parts are taped on cars than you realize. That is unless you have been to Hot Import Nights

I had mine screwed in... just didn't want it to fly off just in case and I don't plan on removing it ever so...

Trust me... you do NOT need the screws. I had no screws for a few weeks and took the car up to speeds you will probably never go, and on a windy day no less. I ended up adding the screws just for security reasons. It's really up to you... whether or not you are sure nobody might want to rip it off. But you don't need the screws.
