I bought a spoiler (V6) style for my Wife's 06 GT Vert:
It was flawless, came with all the hardware, shipped in a really well packaged box and was dirt cheap. I say GO FOR IT.

Yes, I bought 2 rims from them (18" fanblades) after my car made it's acquaintance with a curb. I can't speak to the quality of painted parts since I got rims. However, the price of the rims were less then half what ford wanted to charge for new ones. They came appropriately packaged within a few days and in good, but not perfect, condition. But that was ok since they matched the wear on my other two rims which had 20,000 miles on them. I'm happy I bought from them.

I just recently had a hood shipped from Georgia to NJ and it cost me right around $120.00. Funny thing is, that the same hood shipped within my state, about an hour from me, would have cost me $175.00 in shipping. I guess it depends on how much profit the vendors want to make on an item.

It also depends on the shipper... we use FedEx, and our rates with UPS are completely different, for the same box. You're actually paying for the box to put it in, and the "volumetric weight" or some such nonsense that is charged for the size of the piece, not its actual weight. They figure if they had a bunch of small boxes taking up the same room, they could make more money, hence the charge being so much higher.
For example, we charge (and it costs normally a minimum) of 35.00 to ship the front splitter we offer. If you add 5 inches to the height of the box (normally 77x21x5) to make it 77x21x10, our cost goes to over 100.00 for an in-state shipment!! So if we have to ship more than one, guess what... it goes as a separate shipment!
HTH - not saying anyone is not making a markup on some of the costs you guys are throwing around, but I'm guessing if they are, it's not much. By the time they purchase / find / steal the box, package it, tape it all up, get it ready, etc... the prices don't sound too far out of whack.

They were very easy to work with.

The box dimensions are 72x23x21 for the front or rear cover box and they weigh 21lbs. Go to FEDEX.com and see what the charge to your Zip from 46804 would be.
For a regular customer to ship from 46804 to 77051 (Houston) I see $141.02. Looks like a discount............

You'll get much better response if you post in the main 2005-2009 forum instead of in this thread. But I would start with local junkyards. Most of them have the ability to source parts across the country through an online database.
