Sorry about the dirty car and dark pics (no proper light in the garage :notnice: ).
I just installed the chrome taillight trim and the "MUSTANG" trunk lid letters and took a few quick photos. Tomorrow I will wash the car and take more pics in the sun (or at least in daylight). Not really looking forward to the PITA of cleaning/waxing around the letters...

Chrome taillight trim from Ebay (member e_seller05)
Trunk lid letters from John's Mustang.

This is how the taillight trim kit arrived:

Hi Louis, nice touches.....but I'm a bit partial to the retro stuff. Anyways, do me a favour and take a look at www.showlenses.com for a "perfect" set of tail light bezels that you might want to consider. They're 1, molded piece of very high quality material rather than the multi-piece set that you bought. Rick sells them for $65.00 USD and if you're nice he'll throw in a set of showlenses for your fogs. Mustang Tuning also sells them for $60.OO, minus the lense covers.

Anyways, there's a big difference in what you have versus the "showlenses" style, check out this string for comments all around:

Anyways, just my thoughts, trying to help you avoid that "Pep Boys" chrome molding comment when someone looks close at your tails.

Thanks Mark, I know what you mean about the PepBoys look.
At the moment I'm trying different ideas for a '69 Mach1 look. Actually I've also ordered the black slotted taillight trim from Moss Mustang and the Silverhorse Racing honeycomb panel. I think an all-black rear will look better than any kind of chrome taillight bezels.

I know I promised better pics today, but it started snowing and I could only take another shot in the office parking. My camera is crap under poor lighting, sorry:

P.S.: SilverHorse Racing is also working on a '68-'70 look-a-like taillight trim

I hope you could get some better pictures because I've been wondering what those chrome light trims look like on a black stang. I'd really like to see it with the chrome trim and chrome letters. I'm into the 05 retro look so might be interested in doing that.

Interested only in the best quality for the GT. I'm on the fence for appearance of these chrome bezels. Wife would like a Photoshop on her car, if anyone can please help. She can't visualize them, understand my problem? LOL

I would like some feed back on the Fog Light lens covers. Harman's site says they are for show and removable for road use. Even tough I would go with the Amber,

Still I would like to hear more. Can someone explain the removal and reuse of these covers. What are they made of, do they holdup to that without scratching or any other damage to the covers or the factory parts? Are they just a film of 3M? Information is lacking.

Thanks

Bruce, I can't photoshop but I do have a picture of stainless steel tail light bezels installed on my Satin Silver GT... They are not the same multi-piece trim that Louie installed... Those you have to bend and shape to fit your tail lights... The ones I installed are made of a 1 piece highly polished stainless steel... You can get them on eBay for about $45.00... Great quality product... Here's an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-06-FOR...sspagenameZWDVW

I ripped the flat stainless steel bezels off and replaced them with the chromed ABS. They are a one piece design that fits the tail light grooves perfectly. Everyone that has seen them says the look and fit are factory compared to the flat stainless. Mustang Tuning has them for $65 delivered--well worth the extra $20. http://www.mustangtuning.com/2005-chrome-m...light-trim.html

Thanks Mark, yes these are the ones I'm interested in. Perhaps I wasn't clear on that. Was flipping through other posts on the subject and landed here.

Randy, Thanks for bigger view, looks good, but was not the stainless I was considering.

If anyone can do a p-shop, just click on link in sig and use a blacked rear shot, Thanks.
