Strut tower brace?
Just wondering if anyone has installed a strut tower brace and if they have found that it makes any difference? I can understand the theory behind it, I just don't know if it makes any difference on the 05 platform.
Thanks for your help!

Ditto, I've always added one to my performance oriented cars too. You're tying together two of the highest stress/flex points in the chassis with additional bracing, and I've yet to run into a situation where it wasn't an improvement. Even if the factory frame desigh were 100% solid-as-a-rock (unlikely) you're certainly not going to do any harm, and it's a relatively cheap mod.
I have the Steeda and put it on the day that I got the car so I can't tell you about any differences. I took my car to the coast acouple of weeks ago and covered lot of twisty back roads and the car stayed planted very nicely.

Absolutely get one!!! Makes a big difference in handling and I don't hear that rattle when I go over a bump.

Here is a link to the ford strut tower brace. I recently installed this, and I bought it from kcstang, are ford parts guy here on the board. It definitely feels tighter. Very solid. Also looks very nice. Good luck
