Stripes?
At first I didn't really like racing stripes but as I look at pictures of all the cars on this site, I have fallen in love with stripes.
Problem is I ordered a vert and I'm not sure how it will look when the top is up. I've been thinking of getting Tungsten stripes on my soon to be Satin Silver vert.

I like them but, I don't want them. I feel like a Cop magnet now!

kabuki104,
If we were going to stripe that's how we would do it.

Thing is it's got an all red interior, so if I don't it'll look a little funny I think.
Candy cane, here I come!
My Torch Red Coupe is locked in for production this week. My dealer quoted me $1200 for painted white stripes with a lifetime warrenty. The only problem I'm having now is deciding if I should take the car right from the sales lot to the body shop, or take it home and drive it around for a couple of days before the paint job.
Just a suggestion for you...
There's a rear blackout panel I saw on ebay, it has a honeycomb pattern that matches the front grill and looks pretty good. It even is designed to fit around the faux gas cap.
The thing that's held me back from stripes is that I don't like how they looked when 'wrapped' around the bumpers. With that panel you could just stripe your hood and trunk lid, and I think that'd look good...

I've always been the type of person that hated racing stripes on cars. I always thought they were gaudy and flashy.
That being said, now that I'm getting a Mustang, I'm probably going to get some vinyl stripes...=) For some reason, I think they look great on the Mustang. Especially on tungsten and silver...I think they highlight the car perfectly. Without them, all the curves and edges blend together too much.
