I really want to buy the SSE ducktail but have a question. Do I buy and put it on now, or wait a couple months and have it put on when the stripes are painted on? Thanks for the info. I'm worried that if I put it on first, it will be a pain to get off so I can have the stripes painted all the way (underneath the ducktail) back, not to mention the clear coat.

I have the street scene spoiler and here is what I did, as I had my car striped as well. I had the painter, paint the stripes on the car, including the top of the trunklid. Then when they were dried, he painted the ducktail the body color, and let it dry. When the paint was dry, he did a test fit of the spoiler to tape off the area for the stripes. Then he painted the stripes on the spoiler, and let dry. Once the paint was done, he installed the spoiler on the car, and as you can see by the pic of my car below, the stripes on the trunk line up perfectly with the stripes on the ducktail.

In my opinion, don't put the spoiler on first, and then have to take it off. The automotive grade adhesive tape, when set, is like concrete, and the spoiler won't budge. It's just better to paint the car and then paint the stripes on the spoiler. It will look more uniform. I can't wait to see some pics, when it done. BTW, I see you too ordered Vista Blue. Isn't is an awesome color, especially when the sun is out?
