The louvers look great, god you people are going to have me spending so much money its ridiculous.
On a side note, I keep hearing about people seeing JessicaRabbit, I haven't seen a pic anywhere. I'm in Iraq, I can't help if I'd like to see a beautiful woman.

OK - Here you go. This is the Street Scene Generation 2 louvers as installed on our Mustang today. I have included both an inside and a outside shot so that you can get a feel for the fact that they are "real" louvers. These louvers are available now through any Street Scene distributor. We started shipping these last week..

Looks the same as what? The SSE generation 1 louvers? These are completely different. Are you sure you are comparing the right louvers?

Anyone know how many louver "slits" were on the original mustang? Just wondering. Thanks

The original louvers on the '65 & '66 fastbacks had 5 openings and 5 louvers (or slats). These generation 2 louvers are very similar, except that they don't have an opening in the very front... but that would be nearly impossible to do since these lay over the window and are not recessed into the car.
Edit: I started out liking the square look of the MRT's because they looked more like the original. But the rounded louvers that have the shape of the 1/4 window have grown on me. The lines of the '05 are so much rounder than those of the '65, and the car has more of a modern look to it. So these round, more modern style louvers actually work great with the lines of the car IMO.

I have NOT met Chip Foose, I havent even really been to his shop... been by it and oggled and had my face pressed against the car window "oooooohhh, thats Foose's place..." Kinda like when I see Chad Reed at the track... by the time I get my jaw off the ground and realize I should GO SAY HI, the moment is gone.
