Street Scene Equipment?
#1
I am looking for a body kit for my 2005 GT. Has anyone used the Street Scene Equipment kit yet? Their demo car was featured in 5.0 Mustang a few months back and the car looked great and the kit is pretty reasonably priced. Thanks

i have the whole kit except the louvers. the kit fit like a glove no trimming or stretching needed. the only thing is you need to buy some special solution to open up the paint "pores" so the double sided tape sticks. it's that or you need to scuff up the paint. which i am not willing to do. over all great kit. 999.95 at summit and plus 8.95 and 75.00 truck freight to your door. great deal.

I would like to know what peoples opinions are on the looks of this kit. At first look I loved it and still do. I'm just afraid that its just a little too much. The side skirts are very pronouced and wonder how it will work if you do lower the car like I plan to do. Is it too "riced" out?

My kit just arrived today and I just dropped it off at the body shop to get it primed. It will test fitted and painted next week. I will let you know how it goes. By the way, my car is already lowered.
Cheapest place to order is LMPerformance.com $900.00 for the GT kit. Only took 4 days for it to arrive.

Do you have any pics of your car?

IMO the street scenes body kit is the only body kit so far that doesn't look "riced" out

Just wanted to get a discussion going on the topic and get some TMS member feedback
Like I said I do like it, my only hesitation is I'm afraid that you will loose the clean lines the stang already has If you look at the pic I've atached you can see how long it make the car look between the bottom of the drivers side window and the aftermarket side skirt.
The only car I have seen it on is that same one used in all the ads, look great , but want to see it one that doesnt have 20's and a trick paint job.

Only reason i opted for Roush Front Fascia instead of the street scene one is that Street Scene wide front lower grill just makes it look like a mine sweeper. Also no option for additional fog lights which the roush one offers.

Ok... so hit us with it....... how much for paint?
Are you doing the install or are they?

$1,000-$1,500.00 to paint and I preinstall and do the final install. $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 the fit and finish.
They also guarantee that the parts will not crack, flake etc.. They are going to give them an epoxy coat first, prime then paint.

Anyone have the quarter window scoops installed? I'm interested to see a close up of the seam and how smooth the connection is.

Adam, do a search. People have those posted all over the place in this forum. I assume you mean the louvers because Street Scene does not make scoops
