The fit check for the Street Scene duck tail spoiler is set for Friday March 4th. Provided the fit check goes well, production will start on the 4th. Here are some pictures of the one that will be fit check. Its made from hard urethane ( almost as ridged as fiberglass) The part number is 950-70745 and it can be pre-ordered from any Street Scene distributor. Try www.musclecardirect.com Note that it includes a provision for the 3rd brake light.

Here is another photo from the underside. It goes on with 3M two sided body tape.

Here is a photo of the actual unit mounted on a 05 Mustang. It has been colorized in photo shop so it doesnt look real but it is a real wing.

Coupla questions: Does anyone have experience with this company? What quality should I expect? Decent fit? Also, the additional picture on their website of the front of the spoiler mounted on the car looks odd, and not because it is a photoshop. Is it me or is the front slope of that spoiler too steep? It looks like the back side is nicely smoothed into the bodywork, but the front side doesn't "blend". Whatya think?

I agree. In the "mounted" pics, the front side just plain looks weird. That's the one and only reason I'm waiting to order one. I want to see better pics. I don't even care if it's painted. I hope who ever gets one knows how to use a camera and shows us what everyone's questioning.

As for the company itself, I've never really headr anything about them. But to their credit, they had the best looking Mustang at SEMA. They were the only ones that didn't have that "trying too hard" look about their car. So at least they have some common sense... unlike most all the other Mustang aftermarket companies. I won't name names...

too many to list.

I wanted to comment on Street Scene as a company...

I have been dealing with them for a few months now, and all I gotta say is they are the TOP. The customer service is defintely topnotch, and they take all criticism to heart. They listen to the customers, and adjust where they can. A lot of the things they are producing now are because of customer suggestions.

The facility is also one of the best I have seen. Its clean (as much as a machine shop can be), the people are VERY friendly, and welcoming.

I have Gen 1 Louvers, the fit is as good as you can get, the quality is excellent, and the instructions that come with the parts are easy to understand.

You only get rave reviews from me about Street Scene. No, Mike did NOT pay me for this,
