I am planning on getting some stick-on pony badges with the self adheasive backing for my v6 when it comes in. I was wondering if anyone has tried these and if so, how are they? Do they stay on pretty well?

Yes, I put them low on my front fender about a month ago. So far, so good! They look like they belong there... I don't know why Ford didn't put any emblems on the cars but at least it gives us a chance to put them where WE want them!

I've got a set on order. With luck I'll have them by the end of the week. I know of several people who've added tri-bar pony's to their fenders and have heard no reports of the emblems coming off.

I rather like less stuff cluttering up my car. So I like that its aftermarket so you get what you want and I get what I want.

Did you put them on before or after you waxed the car? I heard you should wash with dawn first and then put them on, as they may not hold up as well if stuck on after the car has been waxed...

As just my personal preference, I am with you. I like how 'clean' and uncluttered the car is with a lack of badging...

I put them on after cleaning the area with alcohol back in October. They are staying fine. Purchased mine from CJ Pony Parts but quite a few different places sell them. Autobadges.com has a nice selection also.

Your badge is not quite right, the tri-color should be RED WHITE BLUE

I bought them as left side and right side so I'm not quite sure what you mean.

He's saying that whoever produced the badges got the order of the colors on the tri-bar incorrect. From left to right the colors should be red, white, then blue. Yours are blue, white, red...but it takes a pretty picky person to notice :P Besides, when you're flying past all the other cars on the road, who's gonna have time to notice right?

I bought a "Stang emblem and was going to put it to the side of the 3rd brake light, but when I saw it was so ugly and cheap looking, I ended up putting it on the Shaker 1000 subs. I wasn't going to waste $20.

The pony should be going toward the front of the car on both sides and the backgound clolors on both sides read left to right Red White and Blue. In your photo they are Blue White and Red.

See photo it is from the timeline.
