Hey fellow stangers...thought you might want to see some shots of an installed Steeda wing on the new body style.....I put like 4 additional pics up on my Car Domain page 10....Check them all out with the link in my signature if you'd like.... This wing is probably not for everybody, but I like it much better then the factory wing.....happy holidays everybody!

It actually looks better than I thought. Any way to get a sound clip of those Bassani's?

I dunno man. I really loved the look of your stang before, but that wing just doenst do it for me. (but to each his own of course) It being modern/racer sort of clashes with the retro/muscle look IMO. It might look really great if it were complemented by C-pillar/rear window louvers, a rocker panel stripe package, blacked out center section of your hood (i.e. 70 mach 1's), and a 3DCarbon front air dam.

Oh yea, and those 19" wheels that Peter has (i think thats his name, he has the white stang with blue stripes and the best wheels ive seen so far).

Actually, if those little "winglets" attached to the ends of the wing could be removed, i think it would look absolutely awesome.

Yeah, I'm working toward the side and rear lovers and also a hood scoop and blacked out hood from the black part of the grille on up (leaving only the redfire coloring on the sides of the hood only). Wing shouldn't clash as much at that point...haven't seen any rear louvers offered and haven't found a scoop or quarter window cover i've really loved yet...factory wing was just too low so I like the difference this one made...

Definitely gonna do the front chin spoiler/splitter in black to round it out...Hood black out and scoop should finish the job until I decide on rear window louvers, qrtr window covers, and side Boss 281 stripes....hope it looks great when i'm done!

To each his or her own and all, but....hate it. Reminds me too much of all the rice wings.

Your reasoning for going with the gloss blackout instead of satin with this spoiler makes sense, but the spoiler just doesn't do it.

And don't park in handicapped spaces, even for a short while.

Lets Face it! The 2005 Mustang is almost well Sacred! Some People are going to want to do a ton of Changes and Some are not going to Appreciate any Changes at all! Or Changes that don't fit their Vision! I love being able to Share Idea's and either using or discarding Them! It's fantastic to not have to purchase a Product and then finding out it does not fit or look like you Thought it would ! I personally will look at ALL the Styling Changes People do and take a Piece by Piece Inventory on the Changes that suit me! I will then Integrate These Things to Make a Unique Stang for Me! Shooting Some People Down may inhibit some People from Posting their Idea's Concepts & Pictures! We Appreciate Advice, Feedback but not Insults!
CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG {Rodney King} Our Common Ground WE LOVE THE 05!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks To all The BOLD People Out There who will Dare to Be DifferenT

Thanks Kevin..yeah, it stinks to have people rip my car on here...I'll be nice and not do the same to theirs if I don't like some of their changes. I was posting this to allow others who were considering it to see what it would look like, and not so much to get opinions anyway...Was trying to be helpful and I may reconsider posting any future mod pics if some people are gonna use it as an opportuinity to bash....

i dont think he was dissing your car that much. he was closer to just stating his opinion. he even said "more power to you" if you personally liked it. whats the problem

and not so much to get opinions anyway
hate to be the bearer of bad news but a forum is for getting people opinions

PS IMO its a nice car. but the spoiler is a bit much for me
and your future plans sound awesome

It's all good Future.....but you have to understand that "hate it" and "ugly" are never fun to hear regardless of what phrasing of "but if you like it more power" is put with it....I've spent a lot of time and effort on mods and hopefully I'll see a few more "I like its" in here to even it out ......I made it known that I was going to do a wing switchout awhile back and a number of people asked me to post pics when it was done so I hope this helps those who were interested....good luck to everyone in their future '05 mods....hope to have some quarter mile #'s up soon for everyone interested in it's performance....

Have you thought about painting the tips? Thinking it might look better if the tips matched the color of the mustang.

Good looking car!
