Does anyone know what types of stainless tips will fit the GT? The OEM tips will only fit the V6. Magnaflows and others seem to have inlets that are too small.

 

The OEM tips will fit. I have a pair on my GT that have been there since January.

Magnaflow Performance rolled chrome tips. I had them welded on and they look great. Thicker and more chrome then the FORD ones. Fills the space int he bumper great.

I just installed the OEM Ford tips on my GT yesterday. Only complaint is the huge clamp bolts they use to secure it. I drilled the welded area, removed the clamp and rotated the clamp and bolt up. Now the clamp bolt sits on top of the tip instead of the side. Very hard to see when it is up there. Other than that it is very nice. Another member said they got some from Auto Zone. The only problem I have with them first is, you have to get one that fits a pipe LARGER than 3 inches. Second, the only ones I found that would fit a pipe from 2 1/2" to 3 1/2" where freakin huge and most have the ricer stuff stamped on them.

The cheapo ones from Autozone/Pepboys/etc made by Pilot are really cheesy and rust like crazy in no time. I might have to get the Ford ones or something. Don't waste your money on the Pilot tips.
