Spoiler Poll

Looking for opinions on GT500 spoiler vs. stock with 06 Pony Package (a.k.a. GT Spoiler). Since I won a GT500 spoiler at Woodward DreamCruise, all I would have to do is get it painted Vista Blue and mount it, so..................

What do you think? Will this car look good with GT500 spoiler or look better as is?

I never liked the stock spoiler, thus I ordered without.
When the GT500 came out I liked it much better.
I even like the new V6 spoiler better than the old one.

I must admit that I didn't really like the GT500 spoilers. Never thought about it much recently until I won one. That is when I started to consider the idea that it just might look good on my car.

I feel the same way. Out of the two I'd take the GT500.

Looks pretty darn good on my wife's sonic blue V6 if I say so myself...... and on my car too.

Willie, thanks for that PIC. That helped solidify my decision to take the GT500 spoiler to be painted. I'll post up PIC's after the install.

I voted for stock. I REALLY like the GT500 from certain angles, and then I see it from other angles and it's very "meh"...

The GT 500 spoiler is definitely the way to go. I am now glad I have the Pony spoiler as opposed to the GT spoiler.

I don't think there is any question, but I'm kinda biased.

GT500. I got one painted D3 red from Spoiler Express and put it on my '06 vert. I'm not real big on pedastal mount spoilers.

Spoiler delete.

Just doesn't cut it for us. My wife's V6 (post above) is an original wingless wonder. These cars resemble the '69-'70 Mustang sportsroof which has the integral mini-ducktail, if you will. Can you imagine one without this? It would look just like an S197 without a spoiler -- too plain. Here are before and after shots prior to painting the stripes. Just for yourself but we don't like the "before" at all.

Willie

GT500. Put one on mine 2 weeks ago and love it, but a Pony spoiler would work for you as well.

I don't like the gt500 spoiler at all. I much prefer the stock one. It looks great painted flat black.

I agree the GT500 spoiler looks the best, but i have one question. My GT came with a factory spoiler, will the GT500 spoiler use the same mounting holes?
