Someone Tried to Modify my Exterior!

I wonder what did this? It is the top of my front passenger fender. I have other pictures, but you get the idea.

So...after about throwing up for a couple of days and getting over it for a few more, I took it to a paintless dent repair place called Dent Station Plus.

They say it was a hard hit as it crushed the paint a little. You can see a line if you look really hard, but it is better than I thought it would be, so I am as happy as I can be from something like this happening. I paid $169.00, if anyone is wondering. So much for the cold air kit I was thinking about.

Boy am I glad people figured out how to do these things without bondo! It only took them about 30 minutes or so. They went in through the headlight, they said. I didn't watch.

Looks like another jealous sob attacks another innocent Mustang. Glad you got her looking good again.

The second pic is the repair. The line in the pic is just a reflection of my light in the garage. Hard to get a good shot in there. Lighting stinks. You can't see any imperfections in the pictures I took. I tried...

I would hate to think of what would happen if you caught the person in the act...

Looks to me like a dent I got on my Buick from a full size van front door. The bottom of the door is curved and the edge at the rear is just the height of the fender. When you open the door it doesn't hit, but as you jump in the van it leans and the door makes a mark just like that.

I park in a garage where I get the end spot and hardly anyone is within 10 spots of me. I didn't ask for a garage spot to be closer to the building, it was to keep the car covered! I park out! NO way anyone can park to the right of me there. I was at someone's house doing a side job last Wednesday where there was a lot of action though. Dogs, cats, people... Someone came over to workout and then left. Never saw what he was driving or where he parked, but that is my best guess of where it happened. I wanted to park in the street but it was a subdivision with tiny one-way streets. I don't think I went anywhere the next two days but home and work and I noticed it Friday evening on my way out. I didn't notice it leaving work as you can't see it, normally while driving.

I would like to think it was an accident, but it is such a strange hit and described as a hard hit by many.

I work at a hospital. You get ALL kinds there, so who knows!

Thanks for the responses. I knew you all would understand.

That stinks, lukily the repair looks great! When I saw the first photo I was thinking dang that sucks will have to replace the whole fender, but the second one really supprised me. Can't believe they can fix dings like that so well.

I'd been reading about that type of repair for years, but your pics are the first testimonials I've seen. Props to the guys who did the repair.
Any idea if they have an 800 number for that type of work out here in central California? My son's '06 Stang has a very similar, unexplainable type of dent above the rear passenger side wheel arch.

The place that does that type of repair in my area is called Dent Busters. They do good work as long as the paint is not damaged. So they are great for door dings or any round type of dent. I've used them on other cars I've had. So far (keep my fingers crossed) haven't needed them on my Mustang. I always park in the end spots and away from alot of cars. I also get alot of excersize walking. Looks like your place did a great job.

A good "Dent Doctor" or whatever they call themselves are Gods gift to us **** car people. I've got a good one one in my town. Haven't needed it on new Stang, but used them several times on Lightning and Benz. Now when I get one it just a quick "sh*t" and a call for appointment, and all is better.

Yea...great technology for sure. This place offers a 3 year plan for your car. It is about $700 and covers all dings and such. They do have a 1-800. Tell them customer 991 sent you. It should get you an extra $10 off.

They are supposed to be expanding all over the country, but I think they are only in TN right now. They may have partners in the business though.

Paintless dent repair is amazing. I used Dent Wizard to fix mine when a tree limb fell on my hood. The guy who did my car told me most of his work was at dealerships. That had me wondering about the $400 quote from the dealer to fix my car. Dent Wizard charged me 99 bucks and my hood looks like new.
