Some pics after a bath yesterday.

Still a work in progress, have a lot of stuff left to do to it.

future exterior mods:
Remove antenna, chrome Mustang letters on rear, mold the rear ducktail to the body, and paint the billet grills black. After that, the exterior will be done for a while.

Now for the Poll: Should i paint the billet grills black? I dont want to paint them and not like them, so i am gather other opinions. Let me know what you think.

i say black! With the grills black, you will have a nice mix of black and red throughout the body, with small crome accents. If the wheels were chrom/silver, I would keep the grills as is, but now it looks like too much

Thats what i was thinking. I had chrome 20's so they went great with those, but with these black wheels, seems a bit too blingy (if thats a word) for the rest fo the car.

With the look you apparently are going for; Definately Paint it Black. Then smoke the corner lenses, and black out the rear panel too. With that dark tint you have, it will pull it all together!! IMHO

PS: wnat to get in the mood: Listen to Paint It Black a few times on your CD's!!

I think the Black would look great. I like the set up now but black would set it off.

Black would continue the theme you've already started...

Go black. Like others have stated, keep one consistent theme when you're modding a car. A blacked-out trunk, smoked turn signals, and black grills would look GREAT with the black wheels.

I would leave them as is but then again I liked your old rims better, lol
Anyway you could photo shop it to be sure? It would suck to take the time to paint them and not be happy with the end result.

Your lower grill, how well did it match the cervini upper with the look and finish? Is it a replacement or overlay?

Thanks

i will miss my old wheels, but now that the car is a bit older and i feel comfortable about my dealership, i wanted to move the car from mostly show to some racing.

If i knew someone who could photoshop them for me.... (in a little vietnemise girls voice) i will love you long time. Thats the only thing holding me back, is making sure i will like it.

I think it matched up very well. Quality was about the same, but i dont like the fact that it is an overlay. I cant complain, it took 5 minutes to install and ive never had an issue with it. I know rocks have hit it a few times, but i never see any scratches or dents. Now that cervini has a replacement i would go with their lower grill (they werent avaiable when i got mine).

Glossy black!

Just do the ol' antenna chop down to 8-10", you get used to it quickly and it actually looks nice. I was intent on shaving it but like the little stubby one. Best part is its cost-0.00....
