Not an "East Coast thing" as far as I know. Certainly doesn't do it for me, and I've lived within 10 miles of the Atlantic my whole life....

Skulls and Flames have been around since the hot rod days. I don't think it's a regional thing. Here in the wonderful state of Taxachuestts the more you make your ride stand out the more likely you'll get pulled over for a minor infaction or no infraction. Can you say .. "profiling" The more bling the more tickets especially if you like going over the the speed limits.

 

There's so much bling around here, the plain janes get the tickets.
