I'm working on adding them to our website now... I'll add links in a few when the product descriptions are done.
Oh.

Cool.

I like the GT style in black...but I wonder what the GT letters would look like being white.

That might look pretty cool. Black out panel with black emblem with GT in white.

Who has time to sleep - I can't afford a dedicated group of web and photo guys, so I have to get this stuff done sometime !! During the day we have to run the business, so now that everyone else is in bed I have time to work on this without interruption from the phones, contractors, etc..

As to coloring the lettering - I know some people have done just that with our fuel doors. Masking and painting isn't that hard, just a bunch of tape, an X-acto, and a few minutes - voila! That said, we don't offer it that way, obviously because no matter what color we paint, someone would want a different color combo done...

Here is another silly question: What keeps the door in the up/closed position? Is it spring loaded, or just friction? Basicly, will it come open with spirited driving?
Thanks.

Magnetically locked with the same cadmium plated magnets we use on our fuel doors.

I doubt ANY amount of spirited driving will let it open. That, and the hinge is adjusted to have some drag on it, so it doesn't just flop open.

Bringing this back up from the past ...

The "plain" finish parts will be available in a couple weeks - first black and polished, with chrome following soon after.

We also are updating some of the pictures this weekend of the parts on our website, all are actual pictures of pieces pulled off the shelf, so no tricks here, other than actually using a good studio setup that we now have in-house. Anyway, here's a couple:

It's the GT piece without the GT engraved - otherwise identical.

Although with our new engraving equipment you should see - oh wait, soon you will see - what we are really capable of.

Do you think you'll be able/legally allowed to make a piece that would look something like this? (I would buy the first one in an instant!)

As far as stacking GT vertically, no - we already have it horizontal.

As far as the Tri-bar pony and the running horse, no - trademarks.

As far as doing a one-off special order with artwork you supply us with, maybe... but no promises yet.

Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've
constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to
the power of the Force.

I can go all day with Star Wars quotes

Simple answer - no.

Complex answer - yes. The new plain piece in black / clear anodize could be coupled with a customer-supplied emblem to reproduce the look in question. How's that for a "safe" answer ?

MTAS - Good answer - but you quoted ANH, and I was in ROTJ - gotta keep it in the same chapter to be relevant there buddy! I mean really, away put your weapon, I mean you no harm...

LOL, I'd better stop while I have any dignity left...

BTW, you coming over for the Palm Bay Ford Show this weekend?

When do you anticipate the flat faced medallian without the GT to be available? I'm looking for one before Christmas and would really like to see examples of one with some badging ideas.

Thanks for the great products.

They should be coming back soon. I placed the order for anodize and plating a couple weeks back, and even with our "black" projects going on around here, we should find the time when they come back to get them into the system. I have almost 50 off for finishing with the flat door, so I'll let you know as soon as they come in.

Brad wants to try something with one as well, so I'm guessing he'll have some pictures of one with his take on it. This will be a good piece for people that want to customize the custom products

Plain door pieces in both black anodized and chrome plated finishes are in stock! Polished shouldn't be too long off, but I haven't got them back yet. Price is the same as for the GT door, and you can order the GT door on our website and just put an email off to us that it needs to be the plain one until I get a chance to update the website.

Thanks!
