Does anyone have an example pic of the honeycomb rear panel and a CDC or SS ducktail installed. I really like both mods but I have yet to see a pic with both installed. I'm also wanting to add shelby stripes...whats the thoughts on stripes and the honeycomb panel?

Any pics would be appreciated especially tungsten.

And we will have multiple stripe kits available soon at good prices. We expect to beat the competition on every kit out there, and do it in any color you like that is available....

What about this guy's car? I think I've seen it around here a couple times...

I have the CDC ducktail and the honeycomb, but no pics. I can say it looks good though.

[attachmentid=48372][attachmentid=48368]Here's my Silverhorse Racing honeycomb rear panel, black taillight trim (Ebay) and SSE ducktail.

Personally, I don't think stripes would go good with the honeycomb panel. I would take my honeycomb panel off if I put stripes on. Just my opinion.

Wow,
Thanks for the inputs...I have to say I'm convinced. First the panel, the ducktail, and then stripes later this year (all subject to my fiscal commitee..the wife). These pics are good ammunition for my case.

Thanks again for the help...this board is great!

Campos169 what do you do at Kunsan. I was at the "Kun" back in 97 and just got back from Osan Nov 05. Kunsan is a better place in my opinion.

I think blacking out the back helps the look of a ducktail. Breaks it up so the rear doesn't look so large.

I'm a contractor working in computer hardware maintenance. Yes, Kunsan is a little slower paced than Osan, which is great for my work. I like visiting Osan now and then for the better BX, etc. and especially for the drive on the highway!

I think Stangnut's observation here is 110% correct. The back end of the S197 looks big even before adding a ducktail. The Silverhorse panel (or other blackout) goes a long way in making things look more balanced.

I think the stripes are getting a little played out on our body style. I get a lot of compliments on how I showed some restraints and have a car that looks like it is factory. I think that is the biggest compliment. Doing a car that has subtle changes that unless you really know the car and options is what makes it flow so well. Good luck! I know I though long and hard what I wanted to accomplish with my car.

P.S. Thanks for linking my car! I didn't realize people still remembered that photo!
