SilverHorse Louver Question
SilverHorse Louver Question
I have a 2005 torch red mustang. So far I have added a black chin spoiler, black rocker, and a black spoiler. In the near future I plan to do some black paint work on the hood.
I am debating how to paint these new louvers. Do I paint them red to flow with the body? Or do I paint them black to keep with the theme?
What would you do?

I'm definitely painting mine, but will also have the perpendicular part of the louvers masked off, so I still will have some visibility. Can't wait for these, its getting closer to reality (i.e in my hands and on my car)!!!
I'd do body color, unless you are planning on doing a two-tone, where you paint the whole upper part of the car black (a la Roush Boyd Coddington SN95 or the new roush roadster). then you could just get them painted now
Ha - Christmas!!
It's more like Santa's workshop around here!
Well, I can say there is an entire trailer full of these as of today, and so we are on schedule to start shipping on Monday as promised. Everyone who is pre-ordered but not getting paint should have them next week, and all the pre-paint will ship as fast as they can be done.

Oh, and I'd go with the red - although the blackout is good with the tinted windows, the painted I think is a more "finished" look. The part is not "bumpy" so it would be smooth, but there is something to be said about red on red...
