SilverHorse Carbon Fiber Decklid panel

After the magnetic panel I got has deteriorated after about two months with cracks, and creases, I needed something better for the rear panel.

This was pointed out to me by my dad, and I thought it looked pretty cool. We washed the car today, and even though it was supposed to be a Christmas present, we decided to put it on while it was clean.

I think it worked out really nice.

you have any larger pics? how is the fit? any gaps around the cap?

edit: the one on the website looks like it goes all the way up to the crease, but yours seems shorter height wise. maybe it is just the pic. idk.

I see what you mean about the crease, the picture on their site came from a member here in a thread about blackout panels. It looks like theirs goes farther, but still not all the way. It has an even gap of about a millimeter or so around the gas cap, but I think that may be to allow for SilverHorse's bigger caps. It is not really noticeable.

Wow. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I was going to order one of theses from SHR. But after seeing these shots it is clear that this a different panel than the one shown in SHR's picture. This much shorter top version is a "Deal Breaker" for me. Looks really nice and works well with your body color! But am wanting something that covers the whole area because ours is white! So the panel looks like part of the body not just stuck on the back. CalStang

Yup was just going to say the same thing, all I want is a flat black plastic one that goes all the way up on the little curve, but I don't want the honeycomb.

Thats because the SHR piece is not the same as the one on the the picture that CalStang shows.

This is the proper piece from RKSport

This one in my opinion is much better (sorry Marcelo) than the one that SHR offers, as it will not have any kind of gap around the emblem.
