Silver Horse Racing Stuff is amazing!

I just recieved the polished gt fuel door, the rear medallion polished gt, and the cup holder piece and oh my god this stuff looks like amazing quality. These things are going to last longer than the car. I will post some pics as soon as the weather and the weekend permit. Just wanted to thank marcello for getting it too me so quick. I cant wait to see this stuff on my car. Next the louvers. I wasn't even going to do louvers, I was going to do scoops, and they changed my mind. Gracias, Gracias

Yeah Silverhorse is pretty good I guess.

Joking. Marcello does GREAT work and I highly recomend Silverhorse Racing. He actually takes time out for his customers.
I am still hoping that I get first dibs on the shifter bezel. *hint hint nudge nudge*

Heck I don't even have my 'Stang yet on order and I am shopping Silverhorse. I wish Marcello would run some sort of x-mas special though, I want that anodized fuel door for my soon-to-be-ordered G.O. GT but it'd be even better with the honeycomb tail light panel, but I'm pushing my luck in terms of me-me-me christmas gifts...

i can vouch for the quality. i received his plain rear chrome medallion. i havent put it on yet because i am waiting for my emblem from another vendor to come in first.

the quality of the chrome is unreal. it looks like a flawless mirror. his customer service is great. i am really impressed with him. i was going to post a picture, but i will wait until my emblem comes in.

Wow.

Thanks! I'm speechless - which anyone who's met me knows is a rarity!

Shifter bezels soon - like I said, just a couple more modifications before I'm happy with them - wait until you see what is waiting in the wings after PRI Ok, back to prep and shipment, I gotta get a lot done before the show.

Oh, and as far as sales, the Christmas / anniversary sale is running through Sunday. We have almost everything on the site discounted, although the GT doors are not part of that sale, most everything else is. HTH.

More kudos for Silver Horse Racing from me. I got my trunk lid cover about a year ago, or maybe a little more. It arrived with some shipping damage (corner broken off), but they were great about it. Shipped me out a new one while I was shipping back the damaged one. Most other companies would have said..."OK ship back the damaged piece and we'll take our time figuring out what to do, and maybe we'll send a new one to you in 6-8 weeks".

Marcello, you and your guys are OK in my book. And, I like your products too.

Going to start installing?

Hello ,
Marcello could you tell me what size thread and bolt those holes are on the bottom of the cup holder bezel. I guess you used those for the cnc machines etc? One suggestion, I notice you have velcro on the back section, but I would suggest putting it on the two little wing sections near the middle of the cup holders where the holes are for better hold and vibration issues. I personally am thinking of drilling holes in the wing sections of the center console, so that I may bolt this down. So if you can give me the proper bolt and thread pitch I could drill two small holes, then attach from other side with bolt and washers. Thanks for any help. Stuff still looks amazing I am going to be putting most of it on today, so I will have some pics soon. Cya

Getting Started

Well first I am painting the gt insert areas on both the fuel door and the rear medallion the metallic redfire. I think I am going to have to put on a few coats, so I may not finish install today. We will see what time of drying is needed between coats. I have them tilted next to a heater so trying to keep them warm. I am using blue painters tape. I covered the area. then slightly rubbed over the lettering to get the indentation areas. I then used a brand new utility knife blade to slowly cut the area out that I wanted to paint. Just take your time if you end up doing this. I am trying to make sure the insert area gets painted nicely. So take your time. Can't wait to throw them on. will have more pics later today.

p.s. Well it appears to get the paint looking the way I want it, it will probably take several coats. Wont have the paint done till tommorrow, as I want to make sure they are nicely dried. I will leave them out over night next to the heater.

finished painting!

Well I was able to do it in a couple hours with about 3-4 coats. I have peeled the tape very carefully off before it completely dried. Any edging paint I can now shave off with my finger nail or the blade. Should turn out pretty awesome I am going to let them dry over night, then install tommorrow. Will post final pics when done.
