hey folks,

I was leaning towards black stripes on my Candy Apple Red GT/CS, then I did this example on Stripe Painter and I think the Silver would look sweet too! Once I throw some Silver AR Razors on it, it would really look sweet. However, black looks awesome, too! I need opinions! These cars are Redfire, but it's close.

Silver, I had a buddy with a 04 Cobra red with silver stripes. looked sick as hell, white would also look good. everybody does red and black, go with silver or white.

If it wasnt a CS, I'd say silver, but to go with the black stripe down the side, I'd go with black.

 

What if I swapped out the black side stripes for matching silver ones?

BSM now makes GT/CS style stripes in all colors!

 

Black to match the CS stripes. Otherwise I like silver best.

 

I've always said silver on that color looks nice, so obviously that's my vote. If you have the option and the inclination, you might look into making the outer stripes a color other than the silver, though.

I like both for different reasons. The black looks good and is more traditional like 07GT-RSN said (as is white-I like that too). The silver is different but still looks great IMO. What about a charcoal or something in between black and silver? I'm split down the middle on either of these combos, so it would depend on which day you asked me as to which I prefered.

 

thanks for your input. I'm also in the middle, which is why I posted this poll! It's a tough choice as each color looks great in its own way!

If I go with silver stripes, I could stick with the stock polished bullitts til I can throw on some Silver AR Razors.

If I go black, I'd feel inclined to go with some black wheels, such as black bullitts for a more sinister look....arrghhhh!!!

 

Mineral Gray would give a different look and would look great IMHO (a warm gray would look better with the dark red). I am not a fan of silver on dark red cars myself.

 

hmmm, you might be on to something there...that's right in between. I'd have to dig up a pic to see how that looks...

 

I like the silver.... what about a dark grey? inbetween the silver and black?

 

Silver looks great on that color...but with you GT/CS front and rear facias in black and the side stripe in black..silver would look TERRIBLE!!! Stay with the red/black theme....
