Side stripe question?

Well since Carrroll has decided to finally do a Shelby GT350 I am debating weather or not to remove the G.T.350 from my side stripe. Any opinions on what might look good? I was thinking that I might just have the middle black like the rest of the stripe. Any of you photoshop guys want to try something, go for it. I don't really want to take the side stripe off because i like it.

I think just a solid stripe would look great, and if you ordered from BSM he can send you just that section so you don't have to redo the whole thing!

Go with 300 or a solid line.

How about the solid black line continued with black GT emblems on the fender instead of the running pony?

The fading strip would look sick on your car.

Leave it. Your car is a different body style than the new GT350, so there's no "poser" issue, and that stripe just looks great as-is

Your car look fine as is. Tell everybody the 350 is your horsepower rating.

I've always liked the Taco Bill fading stripe.

I've looked at this and looked at it Rich. I honestly have got no suggestion. I like it as is. But with the new GT350 it does kind of mess things up a bit. I don't know what to tell you. I'd be stumped if it were my car too.

FORD stripe? But I am bias. Whatever you decide, your car is beautiful and I wouldn't worry about being considered a poser (if that is your motivation.)

I like it. But if you're going to replace it, I'd say put a GT logo in there in place of the GT.350, or just a solid stripe.

Or say 350 is your hp rating, and get it there! I saw a guy in a '65(I believe) Coupe, White with blue stripes, had side stripes like yours, except it said GT.347. I'd imagine that's for a 347 Stroker, and I thought it was cool

I have a fading black stripe like Taco's in my garage still in the shipping box. I was going to put one on my car, but decided against it before I even opened the box. PM me if anyone wants it. I like the car as is though Rich.

I have only had 1 person ever say anything to me about the G.T.350 and it was a 07 Shelby GT owner. He said, "that's no G.T.350, Shelby hasn't made one yet. Mine is a real Shelby GT." I said, "your right. Do you want to race?"

I'd pull it and either put in something like some running pony(s) logo in there, GT, or Ford and get away from the GT350, which it is not...

SPACE OUT THE MUSTANG GT AND THAT WOULD BE COOL ALSO ON THE DOOR CENTERED

Sue Shelby for copying your stripe

how about just change to 350HP - think everyone would know what it was AND no more 'real SHELBY' comments... loved that 'wanna race' comment

Exactly what I was thinking. Your car looks good. Keep it and to hell w/ other people's opinions. You're the one paying for it and driving it. You had your S197 GT350 before Shelby did. If anyone tells you that yours is some kind of copy, just politely tell them that it isn't and that only a ******* would confuse your car w/ that hunk of stuck on plastic that Shelby rolled out.

I agree. I have the GT350 stipes which I had planned to put on mine... Was going to go for 350RWHP to "jusitfy" the stripe... and the seat of my pants!

If I wasn't selling her, I'd STILL put them on! Change nothing!

Leave them! in my opinion, Shelby missed the boat using the 2010+ body style to do the GT350. 05-09 should've been the one since it ressembles more the body style of the old GT350.
